You may have an existing project you want to add the Space Combat Kit to, without overwriting your existing project settings. Here are the steps to do it.

  1. To install the Space Combat Kit into an existing project, start off by creating a separate, empty project and install SCK into it by following the steps.

  2. Once that's completed, inside the new project, right click on the SpaceCombatKit folder in the Project tab, and select Export Package. Click 'Export' on the popup menu and set the save path to anywhere on your computer.

  3. Next, go to your existing project, right click the Assets folder in the Project tab, and click Import Package. Find the package you exported above and import it.

  4. After the import is complete, run the SCK Install Manager by going to the top editor menu, selecting 'Space Combat Kit' and then selecting 'Install Manager'. You'll be presented with this popup. Click 'Update Project Settings' to add the input axes and layers to your project settings. This will not overwrite your current settings, they will be added to what's already there.

That's all! SCK has now been successfully installed into your existing project, without affecting your existing project settings.
